Yes!! It has happened my fellow rock admirers! Our real website is online and kicking. There's not that much stuff on it yet, but trust me, there will be. We will keep it up 2 date and no more silly shit on it like this weblog! Instead, we will use this weblog to keep you posted on the things happening in the band once a week or once a month or twice a month, whatever.
I figure you'd be wanting the link to our new website, right?
Yeah right.. The weather sucked and we didn't get to practice a lot because of all the vacations, but here we are again, ready to rock and ready for the new music season. As you know, we've played at the Paap in the Hague and at JJ Musichouse this summer, but you haven't had any material from those gigs yet.
Let's start of with a little song at the Paap, it was fucking quiet in there because of the semi-final for the European Championship Soccer 2008 in Austria. That didn't keep us from playing though..
Last weekend we played at JJ Musichouse. Great place, great gig. Here's a little song.
We're working on new songs again and new gigs so keep checking here to view what's the status on that. Be seeing you..
Well, we're supposed to have a gig on the 21st of June, but that same evening Holland is playing in the European Championship soccer. So there probably aren't going to be a lot of people coming. That is why we decided to postpone the gig to a later date. When it will be is not known now. We'll let you know as soon as we're gonna play!
Right now, we're finishing our set for the upcoming gigs and it's going along just fine. Remember, the 21st of June in de Tunnel in Boskoop! Be there, buy our album and listen to our music! I promise you, you won't be disappointed!
Well, as said we're busy getting some gigs and so far we've got 2. At all gigs we will play our new songs as well as our classic ones and be selling our album. It's been a while since we last played and therefor we're exited as hell.
First off, we're playing at de Paap in The Hague on the 25th of June. Secondly, we're playing at HPC in The Hague on the 10th of Octobre.
It's not much yet, I'll give you that, but it are gigs. We're still working on other places and events and we'll be keeping you informed.
This summer we wan't to go up one level. Now the albums done, it's time to do some other stuff. Stuff to promote the album and to get some gigs.
First of all: the myspace profile has been updated. Check it out: http://www.myspace.com/hardlyeasy. New colors, new logos and new profile info. Well, isn't it a piece of art?
Secondly: A real website is being made right now. So soon, you won't have to read this outdated blog anymore. All of your hardly easy news come through the new website and an upcoming mailinglist to stay up to date on gigs and new material.
Last, but not least: coming summer is, together with the new websites, a summer of gigs! We are planning the gigs right now and when we have all the dates, the upcoming website will list them in an agenda.
Well, prehaps you didn't but I bet a lot of people did. We ain't... Just a lot has happened these past few months so therefor we couldn't do much. We're going to be working on new songs for our new album. Already? Yep, already. We've got about 9 songs for the new album so we still need a lot more. One thing I can tell you though.. Our next album is gonna be booming and even better than our first one.
Until then we're still trying to get some gigs, but alas some guys just refuse to respond. Oh well, that's not your problem, but ours. Fuck it, I'm gone. Gotta go think of some music.
Still busy as hell promoting ourselves and being whores and stuff. For making this a little easier we've made a little promo video for our album and I just wanted to share it with you.
Yeah, I know. You think the updates suck and want more info on what's going on. Well, there was a reason there were no updates, cause there was no news. Why wasn't there any news? Because Minnes became a daddy last week. He had a little, beautiful baby girl and is enjoying fatherhood at home and we acknowledge that he wants to have time with his daughter.
Therefor we congratulate Ronald and Daniëlle and wish them the best of luck and nothing but good health for their little girl.
We're trying to sell an album here people!! Come on! What did you think we were doing? In January we're going to put our album towards different stages and hopefully we'll be playing some gigs then. Right now, we're just sitting back, waiting for the holidays to arrive. Danny, however, is finally busy with his solo album. You can watch it's progression at godanproject.blogspot.com. And last but not least, we're making some new tunes again, so come to our next show to enjoy some of them.
Packstock 2007 was this weekend and we played there and released our album. Too bad we were programmed against Balthazar, which is pretty fucking famous in Zoetermeer, so a lot of people went to see their show in stead of ours. So for us the enthusiasm died during the performance, but at least we played the songs right. :)
It was fun to play again after a while though. We haven't played a show since February, so we were grateful we could play a show. And it wasn't like there was absolutely no one there, but it should have been more. Ah well. Enough bitching about that. Enjoy the pictures.

It looks like nothing's happening right now, but that's not true at all.. Tommorow is the Packstock festival and we're busy preparing for that. Just come tommorow and we'll have a little surprise for you guys there.
Well, well, well.. The full line-up is known now for Packstock. With bands as Bruver, Balthazar, Jethro, Worldpeace and Last Breath Denied this edition is gonna rock big time! Be sure to be there on the 27th of October in the Boerderij in Zoetermeer. It's only € 5,- people.. What the hell is that? That's nothing. I can make more than that acting like a bum in Central Station. So I know I'll be seeing you there!
Didn't you think it'd be time to play a show somewhere? Didn't you think it'd be time to finish our album? Well both things are bound to happen very shortly. First of all, we're playing at Packstock on 27th of October. We'll be playing in the podiumcafe and we'll be playing a set of 45 minutes. We'll be playing a bunch of new songs, so surely you'll come and watch. :)
About that second thing. Finishing touch will be done this month and when it's done, we'll let you know when you can buy it or listen to it. So watch our blog closely this month. Yes, it's finally gonna happen!! Hallelujah!!
