Shoot the bastard!!

On the 9th of April we'll be having a photoshoot with a guy whose website I can't find right now. Yesterday we've had a meeting with him and discussed the options for our shoot. The ideas that came were pretty cool and it all requires quite a bit of prep but it'll be worth it.

When we've got them we'll put a few online ofcourse (with props for the photographer) and you'll be able to comment on them. Not like anyone'll do that, but that doesn't matter. The option is available and that's what is important.

Ehm. Yeah. We've got another url adress, i.e. http://www.hardlyeasy.co.nr. Why? Just for the fuck of it. Try to google us.. Just take a look. It's pretty messed up. So prehaps this makes it a little easier. I doubt it, but I like these kind of things.. It looks kewl. :)

I made a promise

And if you do that, you have to keep it. So what's it about? The movies made @ the OpenMic roughly one month ago. Finally I've found a way too put 3 other movies online. There are more, but I don't think it's necessary to put them online, because they aren't very useful. Well.. That's how I feel about it, if someone wants to see them anyway, give a yell... But we were talking about the movies. There are fragments of Pursue Your own dreams, Keep Pushing and All Fucked Up. So go ahead, take a look.. And prehaps find yourself happily amazed.

Half-ly Easy - The Amendment

Well, as Dennie already told you, last night we had an unexpected gig and only half of the band could show up. So we played a few songs as Half-ly Easy. Today I've recieved the "photo's". I've put it between ".. " because the quality totally sucks, but nevertheless we wanted to share them with you. So here they are.

Half-ly Easy

No, I didn't swallow my tongue. This evening Danny called with the announcement: "Hey, are you in for a last-minute gig tonight?". I wanted to, Danny wanted to, but unfortunately Leon and Ronald had other plans. The drummer of Hardgeworden Zacht stepped forward and offered to do our drums. Later their bass player showed us his drums talent and played Keep Pushing with us. As our audience turned out to be the Hardgeworden Zacht members and the bar lady, we enjoyed the experiment. The "Half-ly Easy experiment".

We like to thank Hardgeworden Zacht for this crazy evening. Especially their drummer, Frans, who needs the whole weekend to recover from drumming our songs.

As always, people took pictures of the event. As soon as they're sent to us, we will, as always, share some with you.

Talking about pictures. A friend of mine is a photographer in his spare time. As he wants to increase his portfolio with different type of pictures, he offered to do a shoot with us. That was back in September 2005. Now, a few days ago, we planned a date. Go check out his website.

Yup. Sorry 'bout that. Dennie and me got busy (yeah, we've had sex..) and recorded another song today. I wrote this song a little while ago specially for my girlfriend and the other guys loved it from the start. So we just had to record this. I did a little recording today and Dennie added the guitar and backing vocals this evening. We've fallen in love with this song once again. Where you can get it?? Right here..

I know. It's nothing like the songs you've heard here. But he? Why can't we for once relax and lay back and make an acoustic song? I thought so..

Well, are you? I can imagine you are because of all the shit we're tossing at you. Our demo, pictures, a short movie from our gig at the Open Mic and now this... What?
Two of our songs performed at the Franse Bulldog. Which ones? All F#*&ed up and 2 Sides. These songs are both sung by me, but in future recording of All F%#*ed up you'll hear Dennie perform the vocals.

And guess what?! We're not done yet!! I'm getting the creeps already, I wanna record, mix and blast our load on the internet (with load I mean our music ok?).
